OUR GOALS
Feeding Hands aims to reduce, reform and reflect on food waste. Since 2018, we have been redistributing food from bakeries, restaurants, buffets to those in need. We aim to solve the food waste problem in Indonesia and hope to advocate further.
According to UNDP, 1.3 billion tons of food gets thrown away each year. Feeding Hands main goals and vision are based of the UNDP Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
